Mono no aware (物の哀れ) It's a traditional Japanese aesthetic concept that describes the gentle sadness, wistfulness, or tender ache you feel when you realize that all things in life—beauty, youth, cherry blossoms, and time itself—must pass.
The final output of this project is a limited prints photo book, designed to translate the fleeting nature of these visual fragments into a tactile, lasting object.
